The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in India to recruit candidates for various scientific posts in government organizations related to geology, hydrogeology, and geophysics. For Geologist and Geophysicist posts, candidates must have a Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or related fields.

For Chemist posts, a Master's degree in Chemistry is required.

For Junior Hydrogeologist, candidates need a Master's degree in Geology or Applied Geology, or Marine Geology.

Age Limit: Generally, the age limit is between 21 to 32 years, with age relaxations applicable for certain categories (SC/ST/OBC, etc.).
