मध्य प्रदेश लोक सेवा
आयोग (MPPSC) की राज्य वन सेवा परीक्षा (State Forest Service Examination) एक
राज्यस्तरीय परीक्षा है जो मध्य प्रदेश सरकार के अंतर्गत आने वाले वन विभाग में
विभिन्न पदों पर भर्ती के लिए आयोजित की जाती है। यह परीक्षा मुख्य रूप से वन
क्षेत्राधिकारी (Forest Ranger) और सहायक वन संरक्षक (Assistant Conservator of
Forests) जैसे पदों पर भर्ती के लिए होती है।
परीक्षा का प्रारूप:
प्रारंभिक परीक्षा (Preliminary Exam): यह प्रारंभिक चरण की परीक्षा होती है जिसमें
बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न (MCQs) पूछे जाते हैं। इसमें दो पेपर होते हैं:
सामान्य अध्ययन (General Studies)
सामान्य योग्यता परीक्षण (General Aptitude Test)
मुख्य परीक्षा (Main Exam): प्रारंभिक परीक्षा में सफल होने के बाद उम्मीदवारों को
मुख्य परीक्षा में बैठने का अवसर मिलता है। मुख्य परीक्षा में वर्णनात्मक प्रश्न
(Descriptive Questions) होते हैं। यह परीक्षा विभिन्न विषयों पर आधारित होती है जो
उम्मीदवार की ज्ञान और विशेषज्ञता का आकलन करती है।
साक्षात्कार (Interview): मुख्य परीक्षा के बाद चयनित उम्मीदवारों को साक्षात्कार
के लिए बुलाया जाता है। साक्षात्कार के माध्यम से उम्मीदवार के व्यक्तित्व, संचार
कौशल और क्षेत्रीय ज्ञान का परीक्षण किया जाता है।
शारीरिक परीक्षा (Physical Test): वन सेवा की भर्ती के लिए शारीरिक रूप से फिट होना
आवश्यक होता है, इसलिए एक शारीरिक परीक्षा भी होती है जिसमें उम्मीदवार की शारीरिक
क्षमताओं का परीक्षण किया जाता है।
योग्यता: उम्मीदवार को किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से विज्ञान (Science)
विषय में स्नातक होना चाहिए। इसके अलावा, कुछ विशिष्ट शारीरिक मापदंडों को भी पूरा
करना आवश्यक है, जैसे ऊंचाई, वजन, छाती का माप आदि।
MPPSC की राज्य वन सेवा परीक्षा में सफलता प्राप्त करने के लिए उम्मीदवार को सभी
चरणों में उत्तीर्ण होना आवश्यक है। यह परीक्षा उन उम्मीदवारों के लिए एक
महत्वपूर्ण अवसर है जो वन विभाग में एक महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाना चाहते हैं।

Each paper is typically 200 marks, and the Main Examination is more specialized, assessing the candidate's suitability for roles in forest management and conservation.

Interview: The final stage is the Personality Test or Interview, which carries 100 marks. This stage evaluates the candidate's overall personality, communication skills, leadership qualities, and knowledge relevant to the field of forestry.
Final selection is based on the cumulative scores of the Main Examination and the Interview. The SFS Examination is highly competitive, with thousands of candidates vying for a limited number of positions each year.
